Lot 71 Civil war promotion document

   Executed in November of 1862, this mass 25th Volunteer promotion document is for the promotion to corporal of Thomas Losdell or lofdell.( here the handwriting is not legible) then it is signed by the Co. Commander Josiah Pickett major, later promoted to Colenel and in 1864 brevetted to Brigadeer general for gallentry at The battle of Cold Harbor. Excellent all around condition showing fold lines from being carried in a pocket.
